Pardon Our Progress: Elgin Branch Improvements Are Coming

Mid Carolina Credit Union is preparing for an exciting construction project at our Elgin Branch. This project is part of our continued commitment to improving the way we serve our members and providing a more modern, convenient branch experience.

Construction planning is underway, with demolition of the grey building next to the current Elgin office expected to begin July 6. The new facility is currently projected for member occupancy on January 1, 2027, with final project completion anticipated by February 25, 2027.

What Members Can Expect

During construction, there may be times when drive-up services at the Elgin Branch are temporarily impacted. These interruptions are not expected to happen every day, and we will do our best to keep members informed as the project moves forward.

The Elgin Branch will remain focused on serving members throughout the construction process. We appreciate your patience as we work to improve the branch experience for our members, staff, and community.

Another Convenient Option

If construction affects your visit or you would prefer another nearby location, our Sandhills Branch is available to serve you. Members are welcome to visit Sandhills for teller services, account support, loan assistance, and more.

Building for the Future

This project is more than a new building. It is an investment in better service, improved access, and the future of Mid Carolina Credit Union in the Elgin community.

We look forward to sharing progress along the way and appreciate your understanding as we work through each phase of construction.

Thank you for your continued trust and membership. We are excited for what is ahead and grateful for the opportunity to serve you.
