Looking Back on 2025: Building on Our Legacy, Investing in the Future

As we begin 2026, Mid Carolina Credit Union is proud to celebrate 65 years of serving members and communities across the region. Since the beginning, our mission has remained the same: to provide personal, dependable financial service built on trust and community connection.

Highlights from 2025

This past year, we focused on strengthening the systems and tools that support our service to members. We completed several key infrastructure and security improvements, including a full upgrade to Windows 11, new drive-up equipment in Camden, and updated badge access for staff. We also partnered with Arctic Wolf and WIPFLI to enhance cybersecurity and keep member data secure.

Additional projects included Teller Capture for faster, more secure deposits and the introduction of Clover point-of-sale technology in our branches. These changes were all made with one goal in mind: to make banking with us more efficient and more secure.

Looking Ahead to 2026

We are planning for continued growth in the year ahead. Construction will begin soon on a new facility in Elgin that will expand our ability to serve that community. We are also launching new financial products designed to meet the needs of a wide range of members, including our youngest.

Our Youth Account offerings are helping children and teens learn strong financial habits early. In 2026, we will introduce Credit Builder Loans for members looking to establish or rebuild credit, and we will expand services for local small businesses.
