Upcoming Account Update for Youth Members

Mid Carolina Credit Union will soon be launching a new Youth Account program designed to help young members build strong financial habits from an early age.

As part of this transition, we will be performing account maintenance on existing member accounts for individuals under the age of 18. These accounts will be moved into the new Youth Account structure so they can benefit from the updated program.

What This Means for You

If you currently have an account for a member under the age of 18, the credit union will update the account internally. This maintenance will help organize youth accounts under our new program and allow us to provide additional resources and services for younger members.

What You Need to Do

No action is required from members or parents at this time. The update will be completed by our staff and will not affect your account balance, account number, or access to funds.

Our goal is to complete this update by the end of March so we can officially launch the Youth Account program shortly after.
